Portico Church

We believe we are called to live missionally as individual, with our families and together in community. More than a calling it is our privilege to be the hands, feet and voice of Jesus to a lost, broken and hopeless world. We are constantly telling and sharing the ways we are living this way with those around us.

Missional opportunities are simply times when we live missionally together as a community. These are intentional times when we go to people to love & bless them. While living this way happens in countless ways & places (as it is a lifestyle not an event) the opportunities listed on this page reflect the ways we "shoulder" the needs of those around us together.

We hope to bring the beautiful message of Jesus to the whole person, culture and beyond.

DIAPER DRIVE

We collected quite a few diapers. Community Services was thrilled to get those from us. These will truly bless the children & adults in our community.

RELIEF IN MYANMAR

On May 3,2008 cyclone Nargis destroyed much of Myanmar. Hundreds of thousands died in this tragedy, with thousands upon thousands more missing!

We are helping by giving financially to Food for the Hungry. Food for the Hungry will then use your money to bless the people in that location with food, water, medical care & shelter to those in need. How do they do this? Through their partners already in Myanmar and surrounding places. With Myanmar being closed to outside help/relief, this provides an excellent rescource for us to bless these people with God's love. Praise God for a global community of believers.
