Portico Church

Our Sunday gathering is designed to be reflective of our community groups. We don't want this gathering to exist in isolation or be disjointed from how we live out our identities.

We gather in different ways on Sunday. Some weeks we all gather together at Tumbleweed Rec. Center. Other Sundays we are scattered and gather in our community groups.

Starting in September 2009 this is how we will gather.

Tumbleweed: 1st and 3rd Sundays @ 10:30AM [S.W. corner of McQueen & Germann]

Scattered: 2nd and 4th Sundays [times vary among community groups]

Hearing & Responding

When we gather collectively on Sunday mornings, we share our lives, hear from God and worship together. This is a time to hear from God through each other, scripture, teaching, discussion, etc. and respond through prayer, giving, music, communion, and other various means.

If you are reading this before you come on a Sunday, know we are a small church. Our time is well spent, meaningful and special. We just don't want you to be suprised.

Portico Kids

We have a nursery where our Portico Babies & Toddlers play with committed, loving adult helpers. We also have Portico Kids for those in 1st through 4th grade. While we have consistent leaders we also rotate the adult teachers for children to get to know the adults and vise versa in the community. We encourage those in 5th grade & above to join the rest of the community.
